Brandon J. Pugh VP for Legislation and Resolutions
Moorestown Board of Education member Brandon J. Pugh was elected Vice President for Legislation and Resolutions of the New Jersey School Boards Association during the organization’s semi-annual Delegate Assembly on May 20, 2017.
The Burlington County resident will serve a two-year term in the volunteer position.
Pugh currently serves as vice president of the Moorestown board. He is also a trustee of the Moorestown Education Foundation, chair of the local board’s policy and governance committee, and delegate to the state and county school boards associations. He also serves as president of the Burlington County School Boards Association, and has been an alternate member of the NJSBA Board of Directors. Pugh earned the designations of Certified Board Member, Master Board Member and Certified Board Leader through the NJSBA Board Member Academy.
A student at Rutgers Law School, Pugh graduated from The College of New Jersey. He is a master continuity practitioner through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Pugh works as president/chief executive officer of a homeland security consulting firm. He is also a board member on the Governor’s Advisory Council on Volunteerism, and the managing editor of Journal of Law and Cyber Warfare.
