On Dec. 21, Gov. Murphy signed Executive Order No. 211, postponing the March special school elections, and all other special elections for filling vacancies, to April 20, 2021.  A decision on whether those seeking to participate in the election will be allowed to vote by mail or in person will be made in the coming months, the governor’s office said.  Murphy had previously postponed school elections scheduled for January until March.
