NJDOE’s Office of Special Education, in collaboration with Rowan University, is pleased to invite first-through third-year teachers to apply for the 2025 Learning Resource Center South New Teacher Academy. Accepted applicants will join the Learning Resource Center South professional learning community, starting with a three-day summer academy at Rowan University on August 12-14, 2025.
Through this immersive experience, participants will gain valuable insights from returning teaching academy members, learn about the services offered by LRC-South, and engage in quality professional learning sessions on key themes that include: belonging and community support, creating responsive learning environments and partnerships, using inclusive instructional strategies, and student supports.
The New Teacher Academy professional learning community continues throughout the academic year, with monthly virtual meetings to foster ongoing support and professional growth. For additional information, please visit the LRC-South webpage.
