In a July 1 broadcast memo, the NJDOE provided the timeline for districts’ receipt of results from the spring 2026 ACCESS and DLM administrations. The memo also provides a reminder of associated reporting requirements and exit procedures for MLs with a disability.
As noted in the memo, districts will receive Individual Student Reports (ISRs) for WIDE ACCESS & WIDA Alternate ACCESS by July 7 and for the DLM by September 2. ISRs will be sent directly to district central offices. Per Department regulations, districts must then distribute results to parents within 30 days – by August 7 for WIDA ACCESS and WIDA Alternate ACCESS, and by October 7 for DLM. The table below summarizes.

Regarding a Chief School Administrator’s obligation to report results to boards of education, under Department regulations, CSAs have until 60 days from receipt of the last set of paper ISRs for all spring-administered assessments. A future NJDOE broadcast will provide those additional specific deadlines. Notably, as detailed in a separate School Board Notes article on the July 2026 State Board of Education meeting, results for the spring 2026 NJGPA-A and NSLA-A will take “a bit longer” due to the impact of standard setting and other first-time administration procedures.
