The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) continues to solicit feedback from interested stakeholders through its Statewide School Funding Outreach project.

Survey

On Monday, Oct. 19, NJDOE released the New Jersey School Funding Outreach Survey, designed for families, students, educators, school leaders, community members, taxpayers, and others across the state. The survey asks about the opportunities, resources and supports students need to succeed; the barriers facing students, schools, and communities; and how New Jersey’s school funding system could become more transparent, predictable, accountable, and responsive to student needs. Board members are encouraged to complete the survey, which is available here.

Written Feedback

NJDOE is encouraging interested stakeholders to submit written feedback on the state’s school funding system by emailing FundingOutreach@doe.nj.gov.

Forums and Roundtables

In addition to receiving feedback through the survey and dedicated email address, NJDOE is hosting a series of public forums and community roundtables. Interested participants can register to attend one of these events on NJDOE’s Events website, which continues to be updated as more events are added to the calendar.
