On Wednesday, May 13, the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) Office of Special Education (OSE) announced professional learning opportunities available to school personnel for the 2026-2027 school year. OSE invites personnel to visit the OSE website and to register for the series that best aligns with their role and interests.
Each learning series requires participants to attend all scheduled sessions as outlined on the website. Participation is limited to support meaningful engagement. The deadline to register is August 2, 2026.
Communities of Practice (CoP), Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), Learning Labs, and Action Learning Groups (ALGs) provide opportunities for New Jersey school personnel to collaborate, share knowledge, and enhance their practice in supporting students with disabilities. These structured learning opportunities foster relationships among educators and professionals who share a common interest in improving student outcomes.
