The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) is pleased to announce the opening of grant applications for Water Infrastructure Improvement grants in the NJDOE’s Homeroom online portal. The grants are funded by the Securing Our Children’s Future Bond Act, P.L. 2018, c.119, which authorized the issuance of $100 million in bonds to fund these key improvements to New Jersey school facilities water infrastructure.
Key steps/actions
The grant applications are now available in the NJDOE Homeroom. School districts applying for the grants should review the Grant Application Instructions and Final Guidelines posted on the School Facilities webpage, as well as the regulations governing the grants.
Water Infrastructure Improvement grant applications are due on July 25, 2025.
