The Amistad Commission cordially invites members of the New Jersey School Boards Association to join teachers and other education stakeholders at the 2025 Amistad Commission’s Summer Institute.
The theme for this year’s institute is “Moving Forward, Preserving Our Past: Revolution, Reaction, and Reform.” It’s scheduled to take place from Aug. 5 through Aug. 7 at Stockton University’s campus at the John F. Scarpa Center, 3711 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City.

If you are unable to attend the entire three-day event, the Summer Institute will offer a free special session for district leaders on Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., entitled, “District Leaders Roundtable: Infusing the Amistad Curriculum District-Wide.”
