Twenty schools will have films in the Student Film Showcase, which will be featured at Workshop 2024 in Atlantic City.

The New Jersey School Boards Association, along with the Garden State Film Festival and the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission will screen “the Best of the Fest” student-produced short films from school districts across the state. These films were recognized and featured in the 2024 Garden State Film Festival, which is one of the most prestigious film festivals in the United States.

The showcase will be held at different times throughout the conference: At 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22 and again at 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

The following schools/districts will have films shown during the session:

  • Roselle Park High School – Union County.
  • Passaic County Technical Institute – Passaic County.
  • Hammonton High School – Atlantic County
  • Franklin High School – Somerset County.
  • Westwood Regional High School – Bergen County.
  • Middletown South High School – Monmouth County.
  • Essex County School of Technology – Essex County.
  • Park Ridge High School – Bergen County.
  • Mountain Lakes High School – Morris County.
  • Absegami High School – Atlantic County.
  • Eastern Regional High School – Camden County.
  • Bergen County Tech High School – Bergen County.
  •  River Dell Regional High School – Bergen County.
  • Winslow Township High School – Camden County.
  • Columbia High School – Essex County.
  • Chartertech High School – Atlantic County.
  • East Brunswick Magnet School – Middlesex County.
  • Howell High School – Monmouth County.
  • Pingry School – Somerset County.
  • Washington Township High School – Gloucester County.
