Health care rates for NJ school employees rise by 34% in plan for 2027

On July 15, state actuaries proposed 2027 rates for health insurance plans to the New Jersey School Employees’ Health Benefits Commission (SHBC).

The newly proposed rate includes average increases at 34% for active employees and possibly an increase as high as 39%.
