In an August 5 broadcast memo, the New Jersey Department of Education announced the launch of a new website to support implementation of the WIDA English Language Development Standards Framework.
The website provides educators with, among other resources, various overview and guidance documents for implementing the standards across content areas and educational settings. The NJDOE encouraged districts to share the website with staff who support multilingual learners, and to use the resources to strengthen curriculum, professional learning, and collaboration among educators.
