The winners of the New Jersey School Boards Association’s “Unsung Superheroes in Education” awards will be recognized at Workshop 2024, Oct. 21-24 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. This year, the NJSBA is pleased to honor individuals in two new award categories: human resource professional and technology professional.
These individuals might be overlooked but are undoubtedly important to the success of New Jersey’s school districts and their students, providing invaluable contributions that are worthy of recognition. You are invited to nominate the human resource and technology superheroes — and superheroes in other categories — to help shine a light on the amazing work they do every day.
In addition to the two new categories, you can also nominate school district staff in the following categories:
- Librarian/media specialist.
- Coach/club adviser.
- School nurse.
- Bus driver/aide.
- Custodian/maintenance/building and grounds.
- Cafeteria/food services.
- Crossing guard.
- Secretary/administrative assistant.
- Paraprofessional/aide.
- School security personnel.
