The Frelinghuysen Township Board of Education seeks an outstanding educational leader to serve as its next Superintendent/Principal.

Located in the scenic hills of northern Warren County, the Frelinghuysen Township School District is a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 6 district serving approximately 125 students. The district is supported by a dedicated staff, committed Board of Education, active Parent-Teacher Organization, and caring community.

The district offers a well-rounded curriculum that includes STEAM, world language, music, art, technology, and core academic programs. Students learn in a 1:1 digital environment and participate in enrichment opportunities including band, chorus, EarlyAct, and various clubs. Teachers emphasize hands-on learning, critical thinking, creativity, character education, and social-emotional development.

The Board seeks a visible, collaborative leader who will build upon the district’s strengths and continue to advance student achievement and community engagement.

Qualifications:

  • NJ School Administrator or Certificate of Eligibility required
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in education preferred.
  • Strong background in special education, curriculum, & instruction preferred.
  • Classroom and community engagement experience preferred.
  • Administrative and Central Office experience preferred.

Salary: The Board of Education expects to offer a salary in the range of $127,000 to $140,000 and a competitive benefits package including sick leave, vacation days, personal days, health insurance, dental / vision insurance, life insurance, retirement contributions, professional membership dues, and travel expense reimbursements. It is anticipated that the total compensation package will be regionally competitive and based on successful experience and education. The initial contract will be for a multi-year period, as authorized by New Jersey statute.
