Residency Specialist – Morris School District

Job goal: To provide information to the school district leading to determining whether students are residents and properly enrolled. Responsibilities include verifying the legal residence of students whose domicile is within the Morris School District; conferring on issues related to student enrollment and verification of student residency; researching and investigating residency information using available technological, home visits and appropriate investigative resources; representing the district during enrollment and residency issues; pursuing non-residency and false claims of residency on behalf of the school district; conducting home visits to verify the address designated as the student’s primary residence; maintaining files and records regarding residency inquiries; ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established guidelines.
