Superintendent – Barnegat

The Barnegat Township School District, Ocean County, serving 3,200 students in grades K-12 with four elementary schools, one middle school and one high school, is seeking  an experienced dynamic leader/educator with demonstrated success in promoting student achievement.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in the areas of personnel management, curriculum, technology, communications, and planning; as well as a record of accomplishment for innovation and strong organizational skills.  The candidate should possess the ability to effectively develop and manage a budget during times of decreasing resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• NJ School Administrator Certificate
• Classroom teaching and administrative experience
• Experience with evaluations, curriculum and professional development assessment methods.
• Knowledge of best practices in middle grades
• Experience in long term planning and implementation
• Skilled in budget and finance
• Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent experience preferred
• Doctorate Preferred
