On Nov. 4 Dr. Lawrence S. Feinsod, NJSBA executive director, at the invitation of State Board President Mark Biedron, spoke to the New Jersey State Board of Education to describe the NJSBA’s sustainability programs, including its involvement in the New Jersey Sustainable Schools Project, Sustainable Jersey for Schools, and the New Jersey Green Program of Study, among other initiatives. Also at the meeting were Scott McCartney, superintendent of Egg Harbor Township; James Galvin, board president, Egg Harbor Township; and NJSBA President Don Webster.

Voters Decide Proposed Construction Questions in December 2025 Special School Election
Voters went to the polls on Dec. 9 to vote on school construction questions. Statewide, the New Jersey School Boards Association learned of four (4) boards of education with construction on the ballot. Information is acquired from county clerk offices and websites.
