NOTICE: The deadline for submissions to the 2022 School Leader Award has passed. Please consider participating in 2023.
Let us spotlight your success! The New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) is now accepting entries for the annual School Leader Awards.
Each year the School Leader Award showcases creative and effective programs and practices from New Jersey schools. If your school has a NEW, UNIQUE education program that addresses student learning, NJSBA wants to hear from you.
Entries must be received by 4:30 p.m., June 24, 2022.
Entries are judged on the level of innovation, how well the program addresses specific needs of the students, the relationship of the program to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and results. Programs must be in place for two full school years to qualify (starting on or before September 2020).

Each program entry should include:
- Name and title of person responsible for program
- Date program began
- Concise goal statement
- Description of program, no longer than 700 words
- Information/statistics illustrating the results of program
Supplemental materials such as brochures, flyers, letters, and announcements are acceptable. (CDs, DVDs, videos or diskettes will NOT be accepted)
To participate download the entry form, fill in all required fields. and submit it by June 24. Entries must be submitted electronically. Please submit the form and any images or additional documentation as one document and email it to amsmith@njsba.org, subject line: ‘2022 School Leader Award Entry.’
