U.S. Supreme Court Grants Preliminary Injunction Permitting Parental Opt-Out for LGBTQ+-Inclusive Books
When parents sought to have their children excused from instruction involving LGBTQ+ books, the school board initially compromised with the parents by notifying them when the storybooks would be taught. However, less than a year later, the board rescinded the parental opt-out policy.
