The New Jersey Department of Education recently announced the award of $800,000 to launch the New Jersey Teacher Apprenticeship Program.

The New Jersey School Boards Association’s board of directors met in-person and virtually on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024.

Colleen Maguire, executive director of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association; and Kimberly A. Gatti, director of policy at the NJSBA, talk about a new spectator code of conduct policy that all NJSIAA members will be required to adopt in time for the 2025-2026 school year.

The New Jersey Department of Education is hosting its Celebrating Diversity Conference at The College of New Jersey in Ewing on Dec. 5 – and each school district is invited to send at least one representative.

Sustainable Jersey for Schools encourages New Jersey public school students in grades 6 to 12 to participate in the New Jersey Student Climate Challenge.

Funding from the trust will go where it will have the greatest help, whether classroom services, school-based behavioral and mental health supports, instructional innovations, or other district and school-based supports that directly affect students harmed by the opioid epidemic.

The NJDOE recently published its 2023 Performance Report for Educator Preparation Programs to share data and information about teachers who’ve gone through educator preparation programs in New Jersey.
