Join your colleagues and school law professionals on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025 for the Annual School Law Forum at the New Jersey School Boards Association’s Workshop conference in Atlantic City.

The Annual School Law Forum will offer a full day of timely and important presentations. Practicing school board attorneys will share research and personal experiences in addressing the latest court decisions, administrative rulings, statutes, and codes affecting public education and school district governance.

Sessions include:

  • “What Can They Say? What Can They Read? What Can They Write? New Voices and the Freedom to Read.”
  • “Current Trends and Turning Points in Labor Negotiations.”
  • “Send-Receive and Regionalization: Overview and Updates.”
  • “HIB Investigations and the Board: Oversight, Not Overstep.”
  • “The Role of the Board Attorney: Balancing Ethical Duties and Client Expectations.”

Registration Details

The member fee is $299, and the non-member fee is $598. The Annual School Law Forum offers three (3) Board Member Academy credits, one (1) Statewide/Regional PD credit, and 7.2 Continuing Legal Education credits. Register here.

Registration for the Fall School Law Forum is separate from that of Workshop 2025 and must be handled by your school business administrator.
