Voters went to the polls on Dec. 9 to vote on school construction questions. Statewide, the New Jersey School Boards Association learned of four (4) boards of education with construction on the ballot. Information is acquired from county clerk offices and websites.
Senator Vin Gopal (LD-11) served as guest speaker during the New Jersey School Boards Association’s Legislative Committee meeting, which was held virtually on Saturday, Dec. 6.
The Senate and Assembly Education Committees both met this week and considered a wide range of legislation impacting boards of education. Several other committees also met, and a voting session was held at the State House as the intensity of the lame-duck period increased.
