  The cutoff for submission of resolutions for the next NJSBA Delegate Assembly will be 5 p.m., Thursday, September 16, 2021.

  The bill was inspired by an incident where a student from New Jersey fell down a flight of stairs and later died after participating in drinking games as part of the pledging process for a Penn State University fraternity.

• NJDOE Issues Guidelines for Educating Students During Quarantine

  Class attendance statistics for students in quarantine must be reported.

• NJSBA Supports Safety Measures That Protect Children and Staff

  Gov. Murphy referenced options for districts, including funding sources and a free New Jersey Department of Health testing program that will soon be implemented for interested districts.  NJSBA looks forward to hearing more about these plans.

  New Jersey school districts will be required to submit plans on how they will use the money by November 2021.
