• NJSBA Board of Directors Highlights of March 28 Meeting

  Workshop 2025, the NJSBA’s Equity Expo and the Association’s Women’s Leadership Conference were among the items discussed in a meeting held virtually and in-person.

• NJSBA’s Equity Expo an Impressive Success

  The day featured breakout sessions on various aspects of equity, such as alternative education programs, building a diverse educator workforce, providing opportunities beyond the classroom, and creating culturally welcoming school culture.

  Three in-person workshops will serve as an “on-ramp” to the online leadership course allowing participants to advance directly to later course modules upon successful completion.

  Applications for generous competitive grants are due by May 13, 2025.

  This conference will explore how AI can be used in the classroom to improve student learning, how administrators are using it to perform their duties, and what board members should know about legal issues surrounding AI.
