Sinclair, who died July 6, 2024, and served as NJSBA president from 2017 to 2019 and as president of the Passaic County School Boards Association from 2014 to 2015, the PCSBA hosted its meeting at Lakeland Regional High School, where he served as a board member from 2016 to 2021.

The Marion P. Thomas Charter School Board of Trustees first achieved certification in the fall of 2023. After that, the board set a goal to continue its certification journey and complete it within a year.
