To advance the achievement of all students in New Jersey, schools need to meet students where they are. The New Jersey School Boards Association is proud to present its inaugural Equity Expo on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Mercer County Community College.

The Equity Expo will discuss ways to advance student success, by fostering a balanced approach to the delivery of education. Topics include understanding diverse learning needs, ways to incorporate technology to meet the needs of all students, incorporating the student voice, inclusive education and more.

The conference will feature a keynote session, “Moving Toward More Equitable Schools,” presented by co-founder and chair of All In for Inclusive Education, LeDerick Horne.

In this session, attendees will learn the answer to the question, “How do we move beyond performative inclusion to build truly equitable schools?”

Horne will share his personal journey – from being a student in special education to co-founding All In for Inclusive Education, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming schools into spaces where every student belongs.
