The Cumberland School Boards Association, Gloucester School Boards Association and the Salem County School Boards Association recently held “Eighth-Grade Dialogues,” in which they had students from local middle schools discuss their experiences.
The CSBA held its meeting March 18 at the Cumberland County Technical Education Center; the GSBA held its meeting March 21 at Pitman Jr./Sr. High School; and the SCSBA held its meeting March 25 at Arthur P. Schalick High School.
The dialogues are a way for students and board members to exchange views and ideas. Students speak about an array of issues that are important to students, board members and school districts throughout the county.
