The New Jersey School Boards Association’s Fall Labor Summit is just around the corner!
Join us on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, for this comprehensive one-day event designed to provide school board members, administrators and human resources professionals with essential updates and insights on the latest developments in labor relations.
Janet Bamford, chief public affairs officer at the NJSBA, will team up with Thomas Parmalee, the Association’s manager of communications and publications, to share best practices for managing communications during negotiations. Learn how to lead with transparency all while maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
NJSBA’s Fall Labor Summit will also feature a governmental relations/legislative update; the latest data trends and labor market insights; a guide to contract negotiations; and timely insights into recent legal developments and case law that have significant implications for labor relations practices in schools.
This program runs from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., with registration opening at 8:30 a.m. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. The fee for members is $149 and $298 for non-members. This program offers three Board Member Academy credits.
