In 2018, the New Jersey School Boards Association released the Final Report of the Task Force on Educational Opportunities for the Non-College-Bound Learner.
The report studied the status of education programs for students who do not plan to attend college immediately after graduation, identified strategies to better equip students with the skills required in a job market that is rapidly changing and made recommendations addressing the delivery of career and technical education.
This year, NJSBA President Karen Cortellino, M.D. has convened a committee to update the findings and recommendations of the 2018 report. As part of this effort, the Association is sending out a brief survey about the topic.
