In school districts without policy guidance, educators could unknowingly compromise sensitive information or use AI technology in ways that conflict with district values or legal requirements.
The program will include insights from superintendents and a board president, and workshops on running an effective meeting, using parliamentary procedure, presiding during times of conflict, and more.
Nearly 150 education leaders gathered to share ideas about improving equity in schools at NJSBA’s Equity Expo.
The NJSBA Board of Directors will meet on May 2, 2025 at 7 p.m.
The May 2, 2025 meeting is open to the public and will be held in-person and remotely.
The education commissioner on Monday discussed new changes and additions to preK-12 school funding, including the new Tax Levy Incentive Aid program, caps on increases and decreases in state aid, and changes to special education funding.
All county meetings include dinner for in-person attendees at 6 p.m. The hybrid county meeting will be called to order at 6:45 p.m.
