On Wednesday, March 18, the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) published a broadcast memo announcing the opening of an additional round of applications for the Securing Our Children’s Future Bond Act (SOCFBA), P.L.2018, c.119, County Vocational School District (CVSD), Career and Technical Education (CTE) Expansion Grant.
Applications for the CVSD CTE Expansion Grant must be submitted using the grant application form with the required uploads through the CTE Expansion Grant system on NJDOE Homeroom. Grant applications and eligible work must comply with the CTE Expansion Grant Final Guidelines and the regulations at N.J.A.C. 6A:26A-1.1 to 1.4.
Grant applications are due on June 15, 2026.
The SOCFBA CVSD CTE implementing regulations at N.J.A.C. 6A:26A-1.1 to -2.5 set limits on the number and amount of CTE expansion grants available to county vocational school districts. District application eligibility in the fourth round will be limited, based on approved grants from the first through third rounds and the regulatory requirements set forth in the SOCFBA CVSD CTE Grant Fourth Round Eligibility document.
