NJSBA’s Women’s Leadership Conference will explore ways to help you rise and thrive above your unique leadership challenges. This empowering event provides the opportunity to participate in tailored training sessions, network with other women in school leadership, and learn ways to build your resilience and confidence.
Introducing Our Keynote Speaker
Dr. Kimberley Markus is a former New Jersey Commissioner of Education, a retired educator with over 30 years of experience, an IFC-certified coach, and a strategic advisor across K-12, higher education, EdTech, and state government sectors.

Dr. Markus is known for her advocacy for students and for serving educators, parents, and community members. She believes that the student voice must be at the forefront of every conversation for students to grow academically, emotionally, and physically, thereby reaching their maximum potential.

NJSBA is accepting a limited number of program proposals for this event. Each session is limited to 50 minutes, with no more than two (2) presenters. Please list the presenters with their district roles or titles. All submissions must be received by Friday, Jan. 30th. Session submissions by businesses and consultants will be rejected. Registration Information
Registration of school board members, administrators, and district staff that have been included on the NJSBA census may be registered online, but only by the school business administrator who must attach a scanned copy of the purchase order with the registration.
