The New Jersey School Boards Association’s Student Film Showcase is an exciting event being featured at this year’s Workshop at the Atlantic City Convention Center on Oct. 21 and Oct. 22, 2025.

NJSBA will screen “the Best of the Fest”, student-produced short films from school districts across the state. These films were recognized and featured in the 2025 Garden State Film Festival, which is one of the most prestigious film festivals in the United States.
Student-produced films from school districts in several counties will be featured. You can see a full list and schedule here.
The showcase will be set up in true movie theater style with a big screen, popcorn machine, and stage where the student films will be showcased. There will also be a Q&A session with students and the TV/film teachers who produced, directed and edited the films. The film screenings will begin at 9:30 a.m. on each day of the Workshop, followed by a student/teacher Q&A.
